Hi I’m Clarissa! I hope you’re enjoying the my iconic designs. I wanted to give a little background on how I first started in design. In 2011- I graduated from the University of Houston and started an internship at a Photography Studio doing blogging and social media work. A few months later, I started school at the University of Houston Clear Lake Graduate School for Digital Media. Doing that time I started another internship for an online fashion magazine. Two months later, I started my freelance graphic design journey in late 2011. In 2014, I created a magazine called Good Mood Shopper, where I interviewed founders on their social good brands. In late 2015, I applied to Draper University Entrepreneurship Program in San Francisco, California. I was accepted with a scholarship, but decided not to pursue. I also applied for a volunteer position at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. I started volunteering at Lakewood in the beginning of 2016 and was chosen to travel to Detroit, Michigan for Gen Hope Project. Over the past 8 years, I’ve done work for so many industries including Music, Television, Film, Branding and Social Impact as a Freelance (Independent Contractor) Graphic Designer & Content Producer.
