Kemah Boardwalk
I spent Mother's Day with my Mom and twin sister in Seabrook, Texas at Kemah Boardwalk. Kemah is known for its amazing views of the Bay, food, rides, fun, and music. I went to graduate school just 5 minutes away from Kemah Boardwalk. So, I would always visit this amazing place after my finals or whenever I needed some fresh air by the sea!
My Mom
Here's a little bit about my amazing Mom.
Have the best mommy! (She doesn’t like when I post about her on Instagram and Facebook, she likes her privacy). So I’ll be quick... I can’t share everything she has done because it’s a long list. Here’s five: #1, When I attended the University of Houston, she picked me up on her lunch break and hurried back to her job on the other side of town! #2, At 20 years old after failing my road driver’s test 3 times (after 2 driving schools) she demanded the Deputy give it to me and I passed! She saw that I was giving up on the ability to drive myself. So she fought for me. #3, At 16, she sacrificed and sent me to France. #4 When she came to the bus station at 3:00 am to pick me up from a solo college conference in Dallas, Texas. #5 When I was 9 years, old I wanted to take piano lessons, so she stopped her lessons so could I start. I’m not crying! Ok, I am! Her unconditional love she has for me is irreplaceable.
Kemah Boardwalk Inn
We stayed at the Kemah Boardwalk Inn which overlooks the Kemah Pier. For Mother's Day, we enjoyed a lunch buffet at the Aquarium that had the most delicious loaded mashed potatoes that I have ever tasted. I can't forget about their memorable dessert bar as well. During our stay, we enjoyed live music and some fun activities.
Things We Did:
Mother's Day Lunch at the Aquarium
Walked the Pier
Visited an Ice Cream Shop
Relaxed in the Pool
Enjoyed some Beignet's
Hey Girl, take a break and enjoy life!
