Easter 2020
Happy Easter Everyone!
I spent this year's Easter Sunday at home for the first time in my life. I know that I'm not alone in missing in-person church today. Yes, it was an unusual Easter but I decided to celebrate Jesus Resurrection just as I have always had my entire life!
He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'” Luke 24:6-7
THINGS I DID:
Dyed Easter Eggs
Decorated an Easter basket for a 2 year old
Took Communion
Watched Lakewood Church service
Took Easter Photos
Took some time with Jesus
The bible says that " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! -2 Corinthians 5:17
That verse literally means, that Jesus came to die for our sins on the cross and all old things are gone. Jesus is the new! Jesus is here to carry your burdens and worries. So, just give it all to Jesus. Hope you had an amazing Easter and made it an amazing day anyway because this is an amazing day.
