Grapevine Trip

Back in July of 2021, I needed to get away, so my amazing friend and mentor invited me out to attend a Christian Film Conference near Dallas, Texas. I haven't been back to Dallas in over 10 years.

When I arrived in Dallas that nostalgia came over. I remember hooping on a Grey Hound Bus in the summer of 2008 to join hundreds of college students at a conference. The feeling of going back to a conference in a professional role, took me by surprise. I worked on some social media graphics and some marketing material for the 7 Churches of Revelation: Times of Fire film.

The food at Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center was amazing. I enjoyed some meals at several of their restaurants. When I wasn't eating, I was running around to find places to work and tended the film booth.

I needed a ride back to the airport and Alto Rideshare was available to give me a ride to DFW! The driver was super friendly and every ride comes with a free bottle of water and charging cables for your phone. Alto is available in Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, and DC.
